Work on yourself.. A lot5/1/2017 My current and ongoing philosophy seems to center around knowing and placing value on him or herself as individuals. Each one of us has social value to the community and to each other. This value isn’t necessarily measured in an amount of money that you may have. The kind of value that I'm talking about is the value that exists in you, your time and your contribution to the life cycle.
Now i'm talking to everyone here because until people wake up and realize their worth, they will not reach or even begin their march towards their full potential. The mindset of trying to figure out what your worth is has nothing to do with money. Your time is worth a lot to you, don't let people waste your time. I remember a time not long after a situation in my life that i wasn't sure what to do in terms of money or social contribution. I found myself with lots of time…...free time. I was thinking of hundreds of things that I could be doing, buying things i don't need, trying to get more ”stuff” but instead I decided that any free time that I had i would do something that improved me as a person mentally and physically. I was saying to myself that i would never waste an opportunity to work on myself. I studied peaceful philosophies, took up photography, started watching bands and listening to new music. I threw myself into my hobbies and things that I was passionate about. I got lots of joy speeding on a motorcycle as much as a slow easy paddle on the lake. I would breathe in the positivity that i was creating, it was mine and i was doing it for me. I began to focus more, I chased the phone less and less. I created zones where it's me time and no is an answer that you might get from me during this time. I became a more focused person with more purpose to my life. We spend too much time in my opinion making sure the ones around us are happy or ok. Now i'm not saying not to care for your family or negate your children or responsibilities, but make time to care for you. I ask you today and if you ever meet me and talk to me, I will urge you to by all means work on yourself everyday…..there is time.
