We require our guests and staff members to stay home if they have experienced fever, cough, shortness of breath, or a body aches in the past 14 days.
Anyone with these symptoms will not be charged a cancellation fee if we are given a notice before the scheduled appointment begins.
- When you arrive, please wait in your car until 5 minutes before appointment time. There will be no waiting in the waiting area. Please put on your mask before entering the building.
- If you enter our facility with these symptoms, or the service provider notices these symptoms during the service, the service will be immediately stopped, and you will be charged full price.
According to our trade association Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP) and CDC guidelines, these are the guidelines we will be using for the duration of the pandemic:
- Intake form must be filled out ahead of time (FOR EVERY CLIENT, new or returning)
- Payments must be made at the time of booking or cash payments must be in a sealed envelope and left inside the room
- You and the therapist will both be wearing masks during sessions. We have given this a try, and it may take some getting used to. We ask that you put on your mask before entering the building. Please bring your own mask. If you forget we will have extras.
- If you find it difficult to wear a mask while you’re face down, a pillow case “hammock” will be fitted onto the face cradle to serve as a modified mask.
- All linens you come into contact with will, as always, be laundered and dried on hot settings according to industry standards. Clean linens will be stored in an enclosed container and used linens will be isolated in a sealed bag.
- All touch surfaces including door and faucet handles, table surfaces, light switches, etc will be routinely sanitized with 3% hydrogen peroxide solution, following CDC guidelines.
- Thorough hand washing has always been our practice between clients. This will increase.
- Your therapist will change their shirt between clients.
- The number of sessions/day will be reduced to allow more time between clients, for us to clean touch surfaces, for the air purifier to clean the air, and for you to avoid waiting out in the lobby.
- A HEPA air purifier will run all day to clean the air in the office of viruses and other particulates.
